although india occupies only 2.4%of land area, its supports over 15%of the world population. only china had larger population.almost 40%of indians are 15 years of age.above 70%of the population lives in villages

These are quite interesting figures you have presented here. I would like to know if all of what you have mentioned here is true apart from the fact that China has a larger population than India. A little bit of proof would be very much appreciated.
