Its thought to be true - and safer to use your headset. Did you know aluminum is thoguth to be a contributer to Alzheimers? Do you know what contains aluminum? Your anti- persperant. If you're worried about memory, try Toms or Melalleuca, it replaces al the toxins like this with healthy products - at great prices. I shop there for my family. I'd be happy to provide a link if you want.

what you said about almost not being able to live w/out them is so true for most people. I didn't grow up with them - they were around in the 80's but they were big bulky things(mobile phones) carried around by business men and women. I first saw them - the ones like we have today -in SF in 1997 or so, where the Asians there - who almost always seemed to get the advanced technology first(I know my husband, whose chinese, always strives to!), always had them then I started seeing them elsewhere with more people.
Now as soon as people have a break at work, they're on their phones, get off work, on their phones. In the car - on the phone. On a date - on the phone. At the movies - on the phone. With friends - on the phones. What would we do if our phones just stopped working (or microwaves, or cars or other machines of convenience?)
I do think they're wonderfully convenient too. If you're stuck in traffic or waiting or a late train - you can call into work. Emergency on the road - use your cell. Can't wait till their more advanced so they don't cut out in the middle of a great conversation.
