How long do you want to live?

I figure it like this, when I can't take care of myself and do what I want when I want, I dont want to be alive. What good is life if you are to old and can't do anything? I do not wish to be a burden to anyone, I don't want my kids to have to come take care of me when they get out of work, they have better things to do.

I am of the idea that we have a purpose here in life. Unfortunately, our purpose is not always clear to us. In my specific case, I believe i know why I am here. I´ve been in education now for 6 year, and have loved it. Education allows me to grow as a person. I´ve studied a bit about psychology and phylosophy as well as human nature. Also it has helped me to contribute something positive to other people´s lives. as a teacher, sometimes one has more impact than others, but as long as it´s to better the student then great. I honestly feel that I am here to make some type of contribution to education. I wouldn´t want to die before discovering exactly what kind of contribution. I more or less have an idea, but little by little it is unveling itself. And I would like to be around until this is finished. If i were to die before this, I would want to return. If i were to die after this, i would be happy wherever i might be.

I would want to live to my 90s or maybe a little later, but I also would like to be as healthy as possible. I had a great grandmother that lived to 98, and really had no health problems or anything. That would be how I would want to live.

I would like to hit a century.At least 100 would be nice.I know,after around 75 life starts to get miserable,thats what people say.But,i know one old lady around 90 now and she's still moving around here and there,still healthy.So i don't think thats an issue for me.

i also want to live to around that age. it sure would be exciting to live longer to see how technology changes over time and watch grandchildren grow up but i am scared that i will be so old i can no longer move around easily so that would not be fun. when my grandparents were 70 they were very mobile. these days they are in their 80s and getting older every year and it seems that more health problems are arising. they cant do things like they used to in their 70s.

I dont really think about this much since I am still at a young age but i would like to live till about 70. The reason is because I dont want to die from pain or anything. I want it to b plain and simple and because of old age,not illness'.
