My dad has almost given me everything I asked for since I was a little girl...Now that im working, I want to help me out..Since last year, the business he has been running for more than 10 years, is starting to fall...THe company is in so much much debt that it is difficult for him to get out...almost all the assets he owns are under bank loan..and if the situation gets any worse the company might have to close down..I can see the tension on my dad's face and it really worries me. Wish I could win a lotto or something and then pay all his debts for him...
What can I do to help him?? Any suggestions??

I would not count on winning the lotto so I guess you have to take a practical look at things. Not knowing what you or your father own or what your debts are, it would be impossible to give you any helpful advice. I am certain that he would not want you to go into debt in order to bail him out though. I wish I could tell you how to solve all of his financial problems, but I am afraid that none of us will be able to do that.

Thanks for your support...My dad owns a trucking company..cartage of goods...Almost all of his trucks are under bank loan..and so is his house.

I think letting him know basically what you expressed here will help him, and remind him how much he is loved and valued despite and mistakes he has made. He may not realize you are mature enough to understand his dilemma and feels as though he is carrying a huge burden he needs to keep secret. Let him know you love him and maybe he will look less worried and the two of you might be able to come up with some practical ideas.

Thanks for your advice..Actually, I have tried talking to him and think of a practical solution. But, we cant come up with a direct solution. All the trucks have depreciated in value and if we try to sell some of them, we still cant cover our debts.. the company is struggling to pay basic expenses such as fuel, maintenance...
