u cant say that. sachin has played some magnificent knocks which will stamp his authority as the greatest batsman of the modern game and the fact that he can play under pressure. i will give u examples 1. worldcup 1996 : top scorer for the entire tournament. (even the semis vs SL ind:120/8, sachin 65) 2. coca cola cup 1998 : vs aus he scored 2 back to back centuries to help india win the cup. 3. vs pakistan he scored a defiant century to bring india to the brink of a great victory. (the last 4 wickets needed to score just 16 runs, but they failed) 4. vs SA in 1997. india were on a brink of following on but sachin and azhar played brilliantely to avoid the follow on. 5. 2003 world cup : top scored again. need i say more?

How can you say that? Sachin has played all his life under pressure only. He is the one who has been carrying the pressure of the whole team single handedly. The problem with us is that once he plays a few bad innings people start accusing him. First they used to accuse him that Sachin plays for his own personal records. Then they said that he wants the post of the India Captain. These allegations were stopped when sachin himself refused this post. Then a phase came when people said that sachin throws away his wicket at crucial times because he wants Ganguly to be replaced as Captain. And now we are telling the tales of him retiring from cricket. What is this? People should be ashamed of all this. It is well said that we will realise his value only when he will be gone.
