In case you forgot your watch, do you tend to look at other's watch for time?

This morning, I was in a hurry that I didn't noticed that I left my watch and my cellphone at home. Eager to know the time I am unconsciously looking at the watch of the person next to me. I suddenly stopped looking and brought upon to my senses, when I noticed that she hid her arm from me. I felt shy, caught looking at her watch, I wanna ask her the time but I was already too shy to ask. Has this ever happened to you? Do you look at other's people watch for time or you just ask?

yes i'll look at other's watch but i'll ask them first before looking at their watch. I always ask my friends first if i saw them but if i didn't saw my friends i'll ask the citizen. You don't have to be shy to ask people, i'm sure they are willing to tell you what are the time now.

I do too, but that time, I don't know what force made me look at that girls' watch...lol

I used to wear them. But, because of my job, it gets in the way. But, don't you have cell phones that has the time. That's usually what I do, take out my phone and check the time. It doesn't hurt to ask, unless you get one of those people that wear watches with different time zones. Then, it might be a hassel.

I was really in a hurry that day so I also left my cellphone at home... haahhaha I agree, that would probably be a hassle

I think it would be quite hard to look at another person's watch even if I try. The numbers are so small! :P
If I really need the time and the person's watch is the only available source, I would just step up, say hi with a smile and ask for the time. I have done this a few times and I have never been rejected. ^^

That is what I usually do, just simply ask for the time but I don't know what came up to me that day that I just stared at the watch of the person next to me... heheheheh

sometimes - I don't wear a watch. its funny that she hid the time - its not like you were trying to copy off her paper at school. kinda wierd if you ask me.
