How do you like the idea of a CONTEST HERE IN MYLOT???

Writing contest in mylot It sound very interesting, I think many member here will join the contest, most if there is a cash prize $$ for some one that win this writing competition. I will join this also if there is, even my writing not to good, but I will keep trying.

It is a good idea to have contests here in mylot. I am sure that a lot of members will participate. If it is writing contest then the members can become the voters to select for the best article. I think it is a way to attract more participation in mylot rather than just posting discussions. The most powerful prize to attract more contestants is always $$. I believe it is the most attractive one.

Yes I would certainly join as long as there is a very good guidelines for the constest and that the judging will be based on content, originality and relevance. Prize is nothing to me, what is important is the recognition.

i actually like the idea of contests and think that i would be a good thing for the makers of myLot to consider in the later future. with over 85,000 member myLot could easill yy derive of some program that would involve a great number of its users, build revenue for itself while at the same time providing different types of prizes to myLot users. if it comes around, i'm all for it.

You will not believe that I was just thinking about this idea of contests last night. It is an wonderful idea. But I think starting an online quiz contest will make it more interesting to members. Prize may be given in points or by announcing the name of the contest winners. I hope everyone will appreaciate this idea.

Absolutely I would participate. What prizes? maybe some related to writing - writer's market, or books like writing down the bones by natalie goldberg. maybe gift cards for book stores. if there are professional writers/editors/teachers on here they could volunteer to both judge and as a prize edit and give advice.
