Meaning of star next to our respond, anyone know?

I just get a star! And i congratulate myself for it. Although it's only 6 stars. But anyone care for giving me answer what is the meaning of this star anyway. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the number that i post. Because I saw someone here have more than 500 posts but still no stars in there.

Congratulations for having a star which means that you have achived the 100 marks.
The number within the star shows the rating of your posting. Only the number inside the bracket shows the number of your posting.
Your rating now is 6 and your total posting now is (122).
Your next goal to go is the 500 post. The highest rating in mylot is 10 within a blue star.

Hi, congratulation for your achievement so far. So far that i know the star will show up when you have already received 100 posts.
The higher of the start given base on the good mark you have received from you discussion have you replied or topic that you have posted.
More people give you good re-mark more higher score that will you have.
Higher rating is 10.
