Is a PS3 really worth the money?

Maybe it's just bad timing, but to me $600 for a gaming system is a little steep. Perhaps If I was younger and had more time to spend playing games, or I was older out of college with a good paying job I would want one. But currently I believe there are better things to spend money on.

Personally I say no! I say no because you know in about 6 months it will cost a lot less then it does now. It happens to everything the company has all the people who are willing to buy it for the cost they lower it and get more people. It's like a cycle they keep getting more people little by little from dropping the prices a little. So I would have to say no way!

I think you are completely right, i am in college and think it would be very hard to work with a PS3 in the house. Also the price is just too high. Of you really want one then just get a Wii

I would have to say no as well. The only thing that sucks, is I myself play the PS2 and soon the games will stop coming out for it. I would love to have a PS3, but I don't think its worth it right now. Wait some time, it will drop.

yea id say that the ps3 is not worth it...cuz the price is really high and the games are worse...i think that sony just made a mistake.
