I don't have much choice because I only know three languages, VB6.0, VB.NET and VC#. Out of the 3, I like VC# best. This is due to the ease and convenience that the language provides. It is what a programming language should be; non-restricting to the developer's creativity, can prevent run-time errors, readable and efficient. I've only been exposed to VC# for 5 months but I favor using it than VB.NET and VB6.0. Of course, I'm always open to other languages, I wanted to learn Java and PHP too.

Yup, very true, C# has been a popular language in this company since it's more useful in our XML file processing.... Anyway, I would really give Java a try, I'm sure it will be worth my time. Thanks

I use perl most often for my job. I also use javascript a lot too. I also use ColdFusion quite a bit, but that is not a true language... its a scripting language.
I used C++ and pascal in college, along with assembly language, lisp, prolog, and fortran. I've taken a couple of java courses, but have never been able to apply them at work.
