What do you think of Vince McMahon?

What do you think of Vince McMahon, the owner and chairman of the board of the WWE? Personally I start to get tired of him. Why does he always have to put himself in the spotlight? Do you ever see Steven Spielberg playing the lead roll in his own movie? No, ofcourse not! Instead of putting the focus on Bobby Lashley and Umaga on Wrestlemania, he puts the spotlight on himself. And now that he's bald I'm sure he's gonna milk that for another couple of months! Do you think it is a good idea that he gets that much attention and takes up that much airspace while real wrestlers could put on a good match? What do you think of Vince McMahon?

He is entertaining at times but your right lately hes been taken up wrestling time. A few years ago there use to be alot of matches then there are now. Wrestling is starting to turn into more of an act then actual wrestling.

Thanks for you all the responses. I guess we can all agree that he is a good business man. I do not always agree with all his decisions. But like JaRRiTo says, he's taking up to much time that could have been spend on a good wrestling match!

I think he's a real moron but then again, we're not completely nuts over here for men dancing around a ring that is so completely fixed yet others don't always see it! I know quite a few people who still think the whole wrestling thing is real :) They watch it religiosly - LOL! With someone as annoying as that, they use him to get you to watch, whether you love him or hate him you always pay attention to what the guy is saying! You might sit there & tell the TV how much of a moron he is but still you're watching so what they're doing is working!

I just think that whenever I see him coming down that ramp on Raw, it ruins the whole show for me..I don't know why, but to me, he is just a pompus jerk..he is way too old to be running around acting like a wrestler in his prime..he is old..his son is old..and if he makes one more person kiss his old wrinkly butt, so help me, I will stop watching wrestling..lol

Well as much as I can't stand Vince, I have to give him his props. He is a very smart business man, and a billionaire at that. He has done so much for the WWE since he took it over from his father a long while back. As I said once again I can't stand Vince, but you have to respect the things he has done to make WWE as big and popular as it is today. Also I agree about Vince not making people kiss his old nasty backside. That's just really down right sickening, that should be against the law! LOL

Well Vince as a business man he is good sometimes when he comes into the ring and makes decisions it is quite entertaining but the problem since Austin's days in the wwe, Vince tended to put himself in the spotlight. Sometimes i find it entertaining and sometimes not. I did not want to see Vince in one of the Wrestlemanias battle Hulk Hogan, u see Wrestlemania is real big and i do expect to see someone else vs Hogon not Vince. The storyline of Vince and Trump was reasonable and marketable but don't know why Vince chose Umaga to represent him, he should have picked Khali for instance.

I agree with you on not understanding why Vince chose Umaga and not the great Kahli. That is who I would have chosen to represent me if I was going to put my hair up on the line. What I have noticed about these really big guys such as the Great Kahli and The Big Show is once they are down it is hard for them to get back up. So if one was to fight say Kahli they would just have to keep working on his legs till he no longer could stand. I believe that is why RVD does so well with these bigger wrestlers, he way lays their legs and goes on from there.

I completly agree with you! I think they should get someone in to do his job that will make the wwe better. In some of the past years things have decreased poopularity and they need to get them fans back. And he needs to stop being a jackas and start doin somethin to help the corperation.

I don't care for Vince McMahon's character. But that is what sells and he knows it. So he will continue to play the heal. As long as it makes him money. Vince has a good businesss sense. Heck, I even bet he shaved his head to donate his hair to charity. But set it up as part of the WWE gimmick for the fans.

Yes he is a ego maniac and very full of himself but I love that stupid walk he has. I went out and got the DX New and Improved dvd and I can't get enough of Triple H pretending to be vince and HBK imitating Shane's foot work to a T. I think because of this I just enjoy watching him. He is beyond ridiculous. But entertaining in his own annoying way. Remember if it wasn't for him I don't think there would even be WWE, if memory serves me. Lonewolf will correct me if I am wrong.

Vince McMahon is a very intelligent business man. He knows how to keep people coming to see the matches and how to keep people watching WWe shows. However, I think that he likes the attention that he gets when he is in the ring and he knows that people will watch to see what will happen to him. He is getting to be involved in the show too much, but if it is good business then why not?

well it really depend on the plot that the WWE is creating. it is sometimes entertaining to see vince put himself at the spotlight but in the end, the boss' plan will backfire at him. putting vince in the spotlight also helps in the career of stone cold. stone cold's popularity may be attributed when he fight backs or bite back the chairman, vince mcmahon. i think that what started vince to put himself on center stage was when he screw bret hart. they play on the plot there that shows vince is the chairman and he can screw anybody. even the most popular wrestler at the time.

Lol.........Vince McMahon is really a cool guy dude ;) i guess he is the best match-maker in the WWE :D like at WM 23 he did made a match between The Undertaker and Batista which will be remembered as one of the best matches in WWE era. SOmetimes Vince also get angry when anyone crosses him so he simply quotem this: " DONT CROSS THE BOSS ". Stone Cold Steve Austin is the one from whom McMahon is most feared and i guess everytime he has been stunned from AUSTIN...Aint it?
