It's called Apocalypto. It's in the Mayan native language with English subtitles. It's very gory in parts but a fantastic movie maybe even Mel's best.

The name is Apocalypto. The set was in mayan people. It's about someone with the name Jaguar Paw and his destiny in the mayan era. The people were great, didn't like the story too much tough. And the ending is somewhat hanging..

The film was released in the United States on December 8, 2006 to mostly positive reviews from film critics according to Rotten Tomatoes. It has been criticized by a number of anthropologists and archaeologists working in the field of Mayanist studies for its depiction of late Maya society as extremely violent, as well as for evident anachronisms and other historical inaccuracies. It is due to be released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on May 22, 2007, by Buena Vista Home Entertainment.
