Cell Phone is good for you, for what?

I know many people around having the cell without a purpose and just for fun. They keep it because technology is so fast and cheap that everybody can affoard the same. There are certainly reasons for most of the people too. What is your best reason to keep the cell with you?

Hi.. I have a cell and use to keep it with me. This is not just for fun, I would like to tell. I have to go for my college and there is certainly a communication problem with my family. I got my mobile due to the fact that my mother was ill and I wanted to have her contact too. Now, she is no more with us but the mobile is with me. I do use it for fun too, but feel good to have this facility as it keeps me in touch with love one ;)

a cellfone is definitely useful for me but not to have fun. i keep 2 cellfones, one for work and one for personal use.
cellfones are now cheap alternatives to communicate. it's also easily accessible and available in many areas and countries especially when i travel.
i like to keep connected to people i work with because it's important to have timely information to help give appropriate suggestions to improve their operations and businesses.
i like to keep home closer even if i'm far. keeping in touch with loved ones, family and friends is very important for me because i grew up in a close-knit family. sometimes i don't care how much my monthly bills for cellfone would cost, as long as i was able to talk to them as often as possible. :)

i use two different units of cellfone. the one from work has roaming services, this is especially helpful when i go outside the country. my personal cellfone, sometimes is borrowed by my nephews and nieces so they can play games with it.
i try to keep my job and my personal life separate if at all possible. :)

I don't have a land line phone in my house. I only use a cell phone. So without it, no one would be able to call me. Many of my friends live far away, and I like to talk to them. But other than that, I have it for emergency reasons. I can always call someone. It's also a way people can always find me, even if most of the time, that person is my husband. Aside from email - I can be found by phone.

besides fun, i keep it for to be incontact wid my family and frnds.
coz sometimes i got late in my skool or some other place so its is easy and faster means of communication 4 me.

Since i live with my parents iam using cell phone to stay always connected with my friends first and then with my home people when am in my office.Many of my friends are not living in my place and they are scaterred everywhere so its not possible to meet them most often hence i communicate with them through text messages mostly and calls.

Personally, I wouldn't bother about a cell phone but I have to carry mine with me for my business. I am employed as an engineer and my cell phone is provided by my employer. I travel a lot and I am always on call. People need to be able to consult with me at any time of the day so my cell phone is essential. When I am at home, I always use the landline.

Hmm i don't have cell phone for fun. There are many reasons for using cellphone out of which the main one is my Girlfriend. I want to keep in touch with her always. If suppose there is any problem for her, she should be able to contact me immediately. Secondly is that, my parents too can contact me. Also recruiters will be able to contact me easily. So my cell phone is a multi-purpose phone ;P
