Why do people dislike Blacks soo much ?

1. Black people were brought to the U.S. not as humans, but as slaves (sub-humans). We are still getting over that. 2. Black people look more different from whites than any other minority group. The more different people are, the more uncomfortable we are around them. 3. Some (NOT ALL!) leaders in the black community have succeeded in instilling a hopeless, defeatist attitude on some blacks, and these leaders and their followers tend to be vocal. This makes non-black Americans (as well as immigrant Africans, by the way) cynical about claims of rampant inequality, discrimination, etc. 4. Blacks are in fact more likely than some minority groups to live in poverty and commit violent crimes, which makes them less likable than Asian Americans and other minorities who, on average, are a bit better behaved. Never forget that we are talking about group averages though, and not individuals! You asked an uncomfortable question and got my uncomfortable (but honest) answer. Thanks for asking!
