Is there any alternate therapy for cancer?

I saw some of my beloved relatives dying of Cancer. I felt very bad, no medicine and no therapy known could help them atleast to get rid of those pains. Are there any other alternate therapy or medicine for cancer cure.? Will be glad and grateful if the discussion could bring some result at all.
