Do you go with your gut feeling?

The most important thing I've learned in life is that I should trust my instincts and intuition over anything else. When I do this I am rarely ever wrong. If I give people advice based on my intuition and they don't follow it, things always go badly for them. My intuition helps me to distinguish the truth from lies.
So many times when I stop to analyze things and then choose a course of action based on logic, things don't turn out the way I had hoped. In those times I wish I had gone with my gut instinct.

My gut instinct is so on the money ppl actually come to me to size up a situation or person etc for them...especially my husband and his reasoning is "you're never wrong"....My gut instinct has kept me alive all these yrs even in the most harsh and potentially dangerous situations...so yes I always go with it

I read somewhere that gut feelings or instincts are leftovers carried from stone age human to modern day man. Back in those days, when men are the hunter and the hunted, we use a lot of our intuition or otherwise we'll lose the prey or we become bear-poop. Perhaps thats why when our senses tingle when we approach a dark corner, we are expecting trouble to pop out of there.
As for me, i used it sparingly, when i can't resume on my normal planning. Its better than relying on nothing as far as i'm concerned.

I have always gone with my gut instinct, where many aspects of life are concerned. When I don't I usually regret it! I attribute my being a good judge of character to that also, I believe that when we have a very strong gut instinct (feeling) about something we shouldn't just ignore and go on our merry way.
