Well guys, i think most of you over here will either be in love or will be married. If you don't belong to any of this category, don't worry i have a question for you too ;P. Ok fine, i have seen many couples who have a huge age difference. The maximum age difference between the couples that i have seen is FIFTEEN YEARS. I think there will be many more that this. Anyway what is the age difference between you and your partner? If you don't have a partner, then what is the difference you expect to have? What is the maximum age difference you have seen/heared between couples?

I read somewhere a while ago that an 81 year old woman married a 27 year old man. They were both in the theatre business and I was wondering if they just got married to help each other in their careers. My wife is older than me by three years and three months. I was almost eighteen when I met her at her 21st birthday party.

Oh my God! 81 year old woman with 27 year old man. I am sure, that man would have married just for the business and his career. Anyway i think there are many such cases where the woman is older than the man and they get married. It sound great to hear such stories. Anyway congrats and happy married life :)

My husband is nine years older than I am and it's never been an issue between us. My mother is fourteen years older than her husband, which actually makes him three younger than my husband. I'm always teasing my husband that his father-in-law is younger than he is!! *LoL*

Ha ha ha, strange things to hear. Anyway i too dont think that age is a big factor between couples and i believe that your parents surely would have had love marriage. Usually in arranged marriage we find guy elder than girl but in love marriage we see such cases :)

I'm six years older than my husband. Age has never been a big issue for me. I've dated both older and younger men. The oldest I've dated was 10 years my senior and the youngest I've dated was 8 years my junior!!! And in a lot of cases, I've found the younger guys to be more mature in a lot of ways than the older ones. Hmm...go figure.

Lol, so you have a mixed experience of age. Even i feel the same. Age is not the main criteria but their maturity values the most. Anyway thanks for your response :)

I am 24 years old and my boyfriend is 28 years old. We met each other when i was 17 and he was 21. We now live together and have a son 19mths old.

Wow! Congratulations. So you had love marriage. It is nice to hear this from you. So your love story is 7 years old! Even i wish to have such life and i pray that you have a peaceful and happy married life with your loved one :)

Very good topic i ever seen. There will not be any expectation on the Age difference, since most of the people never see the age difference if they were truly in love withe their partner. If tou take arrange marriage then nothing in our hands everything will be decided by the parents. The maximum age difference i had seen was 20 years.

Thanks for your appreciation. Yes you are right, people dont see the age. Only when it is arranged marriage, parents take care of these things. If we fall in love with someone, we dont know their age and then fall in love, it just happens :)

ya it is there... i have seen many but not 15 years... the maximum i saw is 11..... that too only once.... s dude i have lover not married our differences is only 1 year... and u no i'm feeling for that that i missed that one year with out her.....

Oh, the maximum difference that i saw was Fifteen years. I was really shocked to hear this. There are couples who have differences more than this. Well, in Love and relationship, age is not a factor! If the two hearts agree then even the world can do anything :)

ok fine, but you are going to get a partner one fine day. So what age difference do you expect to have between you and your partner. Is it that you dont have any problem with whatever age your partner is or you expect some age difference?

I am 55 years young and my partner is 29 years old. We see no problem, in fact, we don't see an age difference at all.

Ya you are right, age is not a big factor in relationship. But the society talks bad when such things happen. But now there is lot of change in the world. People are not bothered of the society. People do what they like and such things will improve the individual life :)
