Who's Permission do i need?

If i was to want to comercially release a game based on an anime programme,
Who would i have to get permission from?
Would i just have to talk to the publisher or would i have to go the the original creator in order to get permission?

what kind of game?? board, video, computer?? you would probably have to approach the company who owns the anime...which would in turn contact the creater and so fourth..i would asume. if you make an appoint and a formal presentation, it could get picked up...then you can at least make some money from it.

You would need the permission of the creator; publicists,and everyone involved with the creation of that anime.
