Hey there,
A simple smile and a hello. Hopefully, that will get the conovo going. You could always say something silly. I find myself doing that, but I think is has much more to do with my shyness.

maybe you could invite them out to dinner or to a movie or just ask them to go for a walk or something. maybe send flowers or a card.
you will never know what could happen unless you take the chance to find out.
maybe they like you too!
