I wish they would tell us how they pay, and explain their rating system better. I think that maybe they delay payments sometimes and then adjust it when they figure it out,but I have no way of knowing. Like you, I've also earned a lot when I haven't done much, and not much when I've responded a lot.

That tells us that their system is imperfect.

I don't think that mylot is ever going to release their so-called "system". Can you imagine if everyone knew how to make decent money; and by that I mean 2-3$ a day. Can you imagine the cost? 90,000 x 2 = $180,000 PER DAY. I don't think any site can afford to dole out that much cash. Especially a site that's as reliable as mylot.

You are making sense and I just thought about that. I certainly helps me to relax a little.

Yeah, i'm agree.. what i read about myLot, they don't tell us how they make money and how they paid us, what i had read they just tell the system is very complicated. So just give a try to tell all the user, maybe not all understand the system but myLot have almost 90,000 user so to find someone that understand the system is very easy.
So myLot need to tell how the system works

i know exactly what you mean. The other day I just responded to a few people and i earned like 60 cents, but yesterday I really did spend a lot of time online, and was only paid out for like 30 cents. What gives? I try to make sure that all of my posts are insitefull, and I earned less. Oh well, I do still like the people, and the conversations though.

I agree about the people. I just would like some consistency.

I have the same ebb and flow of earnings like you mentioned. But, one thing I've noticed on the days when I'm not here so much is that I write a lot better responses. When I take the time and really write out good responses, I seem to always get paid more. Also, when I start discussions that get good responses, that also seems to increase my earnings. I also wonder if other people's ratings and responses have something to do with my earnings as well. Oh well. I just do what I can.

I gave up trying to figure out how the pay system works here. But I wonder if it has anything to do with how much money they pull in from this site. Maybe somedays they make more and some days less so thats why our earnnings fluctuate.

I think they should tell us it has to do with their earnings so we don't always blame ourselves.

I've noticed the same thing. Yesterday I thought I put in more effort than all week and it was my lowest pay day for the week.
I wish we could really figure out how MyLot determines your earnings.
I'ts a puzzle to me.

Lloyd Anthony, how about if you get a job working for Mylot and you can tell us what they are up to? :)

It seems like they have increased the pay rate a few day afters the new myLot preface and reverted back to the old rate now.

I'm with you, I don't know what the hell is going on here. But, it's harmless and I enjoy it.

All we can do is guess. I believe there's a reason why we are not told exactly how posts are judged and how it reflects in our earnings. I think it has a lot to do with quality of the posts, not quantity, ratings and how many responses are made to the discussions we begin.

I'm so new to this that I'm just happy to see any money pop up when I log in! Actually I don't really understand their system and probably wouldn't if they tried to explain it to me LOL. I like to ramble, talk a lot and get into discussions or debates with other people. So if I get tired of that I'll stop. It won't have anything to do with the money.
I hope you make up for your losses of yesterday though. Maybe it takes time for them to catch up on calculating things.
