how do you feel about 1 word answers or answers that make no sense

I get some answers and responses just like that sometimes also. I cannot understand it, nor can I respond to it. I think Mylot will delete such posts and they will also deduct their response number along with their earnings. I just skip over those and do not reply to them because it is a waist of my time and theirs. It drives me crazy also and I think they just do it because they are trying to get their response number up there. I answer all of the discussions I can relate to and the ones I can't, I just have to pass those up because I cannot respond with knowledge for that member. I think it is rediculous to respond to a discussion if you have no knowledge of it also. They should just pass it up and find one they know something about. I bet Mylot will see these types of posts and they will delete the reply and deduct that persons earnings for posting nonsense to it.

I also hate responses that have nothing to do with the topic or that just do not make sense to any rational person. I agree it seems like they are just trying to make their penny by making another post. I'm not sure how myLot could regulate this other than requiring a certain number of characters per response. But this could also backfire because people would just write longer responses that are incoherent. I think the only thing that upsets me more is people starting discussions that make no sense.

Just give her a negative rating that is, mylot will take care of her. with too many negative ratings she sure will loose her account here. If its a new person, I at first tell them to check out my blogs for tips to earn here or read guidelines becuase we don't loose , its the person who gives resonses like that loose out their earnings. so you need not worry just let it be. keep rating them negatively or if you want quick action post the link of their profilt to mylot that helps them to trace her quickly and ban her from the site.

Usually they just write more or less the same line in all discussions so just report them., If many people do it they will not be here long coz they will get a warning and after that they will be banned. I hate it.. I put alot of though into my answers and usually I get paid the same as the people who just write a one liner, just because they don´t get reported. I am sure mylot is watching them though!

I guess he's trying to write more messages in order to get more money, I think it's a bad way and if you think about it it's not the best way to get money here. I've discovered that the more you put into the message the more money you get, so if you simply write a response that does not relate to anything instead of taking some time to write a response that actually says something you just don't get enough money for it to be worth it... hopefully mylot's management will ban this user and he won't bother you again.

Every so often I get answers that don't make sense. If it looks like they tried to give a decent answer I give nothing. If the answer makes no sense, I give them a negative. If we don't do it, the site will turn into garbage. I am stingy with the use of the minue, but it has it place and I have started using it. I have only used it twice I think.

If they do that and it does not go with the discussion, I rate them with a - . It is stupid that they would do this. They are not helping themselves any.

In such case, write a personal message to that person, requesting him/her to write more materialistic things in your topics. May be he/she will understand. I also do not like these type of responses. It is disgusting. But if I get one like that, I do not rate it negetive. Once I found a person, who had written a one liner response in one of my topics. In answer to it, I commented the person, not to write one liner, since that is against the mylot rules. You know what, that silly person abused me for that, and also rated me negetive in several of my responses. Thus as a result my star rating decreased from 8 to 3.

i can hardly read what you wrote. turn on spell check please. you took somebody fishing. i think that was nice, you should take more children fishing if you can, very very nice.

I have also had these kind of responders to my discussions. They really drive me crazy, these people are just after money and nothing else. I feel that the discussions are very important should be dealt with utmost care and responsibility. They should be replied aptly or else not replied to at all.

Just as you said,the people who replied your discussions with one word or a sentense that makes no sense to the topic maight not read your discussion at all or just wanted to earn money.

i feel those kinds of responses are pretty lame. aside from those kinds of one-liner senseless responses, i also get annoyed by mylot members who just keep on starting meaningless/mindless discussions of such mundane, boring matters. This is very irritating as it does nothing to increase my knowledge, pique my interest, or enhance my participation in mylot, it only enhances their earnings. and what is more annoying is that they are the ones who get lots of responses. These kinds of people start discussions which are only taking up server space. And i doubt if they even bother to answer or at least read each and every response. i hope something could be done to such posters, maybe we could boycott these kinds of posters here in mylot.

yes,it is a problem. but i think someone who does that may have some problems. maybe he feels nothing to say or he has a misunderstood. so when you meet this, if you feel bad,you can ignore that. i think the time is the best teacher that teaches him that is wrong.

I am very new to this site. I only recently signed up but I do agree with you. I have been reading through a lot of posts and it seems that this is a very good community. Although people are getting rewarded for posting and such it seems like most people on here are here to help make this a better place and post something of interest. With that being said you will still get the odd person who is here just to make a dollar without adding anything to the discussions. They are only hurting themselves by doing this and someday when it comes time for them to get paid they might be in shock when something is finally done and they get no money. But they will deserve it. :) I hope that made sense..lol

Yeah it drives me nuts. I wouldn't even mind a short answer if it's a real answer but when it's nothing at all it just makes me mad that I wasted my time reading it. I always mark those with a negative. I really don't give out a negative unless I feel it's really necessary. However I never know wheather or not to report those sort of answers with abuse because I don't know if it can be considered that and also maybe the person doesn't speak very good english and they are here doing the best they can.

Well it depends upon the discussion if it requires a lenghty or one line it should make sense.

You have to report them thats all. They shouldnt be on here. And the only way to get them off of here is if you get them out of here. Also You not using your words correctly or maybe its your spelling for example you write taht the correct way is that. And allt eh the correct would be all the if this abbreviations its not aloud.

It also drives me nuts to see a respond that doesn't have anything to do with the topic. I think, they are just after the money. I actually love short and direct answers but, a word and a sentence which is nonsense must are annoying. I think you just have to rate it negative....

erm.. in my opinion.. mylot should get rid of them.. we don't want such member to exist in here.. their intention is just to spam.. and it's real spam... they're just so annoying isn;t it
