How did my star rating go down?

Hi there, I have the same problem with you. I have noticed that in the past two days my reputation star had dropped from 9 to 8, the percentage drop from 89 to 84. I don't really how did this happen. In the past two days, the only thing I had done here was just to post and respond to some discussions, never concerning to any offense to anybody, but my star still dropped twice, I'm really curious about why.

The only way your star goes down is when poeple rate you with a negative. It happend to me too. I guess because they did like my repsponse to a discussion. Oh well.

ohh...i feel sooo sorry for you......... but on the other hand ,,,,,i am soo happy ...that my ratings star has suddenly started to appear.... so sorry for you mate... yipppeeeeeeeee

Don't let it bum you out. I don't know of any way to find out who downrated you. People make mistakes though. Maybe they accidentally downrated you when they really wanted to uprate you. Is uprate even a word? lol

I am really sorry to hear this! :( I've heard of this happening to alot of people around here lately and it is really sad and unfair. I am a new owner of a star and was happy to see I got a nine right off the top. My rating is 89 and this is good seeing as I feel I have not been on here long and do not have a lot of time to spend here. I really hope this is not a popularity contest as I have found some really great people on here. Look on the bright side, your star rating does not affect your earnings! Continue posting quality discussions and answeres and your rating will come back up along with your star! :)
