Ignorance or Poverty?

What according to you is the most severe draw-back of society... Ignorance or poverty? I think both are severe draw-backs of society, but ignorance is the most severe draw-back as it darkens the routes for eradicating povrety. Please express your views.

Bill gates has once told that if you take birth in a poor family, it is not your fault. But if you die with poverty then only you are responsible for this.poverty is nothing but a temporary problem which becomes permanent due to lack of knowledge i.e IGNORANCE. What do you think,ignorance is a natural obstacle or man made? Means ignorance does not prevail spontaniously,when a person lacks interest to collect more and more knowledge it becomes ignorance. YES?

ignorance definitely. but a lot worse than ignorance is having both ignorance and poverty. now thats a really hopeless case

yes mitra u are absultely right ignorance is the main cause of dra back of scoiety people actually donot know many things thats the cause of main drawback of teh scoiety which results the cause of poverty
