i just watched a program on juveniles in adult prisons.. most of them were in there because of murder in one case the mother of one actully took him back to burn the crime scene and destroy the two girls bodies that he had helped kill.. now my point.. lol cause i do have one .. they had "professionals" on this program saying how these kids should not be in adult prisons they should be in juvie.. i dont agree.. if you are going to plan out a murder then try to cover it up then to me that is very adult thinking it was a spur of the moment omg i have killed someone all of these kids planned what they were going to do and followed thru with it.. one harvard professor even had the audacity to say that parents are to blame... i'm sorry in most cases i dont agree with that.. the goverment has mad it illegal for parents to discipline their own children..except with timeouts and taking their toys away which eventually will become known as cruel punishment too i'm sure.. when i was growing up i got spanked when i did something wrong and i didnt do it again but worse then the spanking was the thought of a spanking and i would ask myself is it gonna be worth it if i get caught 9 times out of 10 the answer was no.. i spanked my daughters when they were growing up an i also used timeouts it totlly depended on what they had done wrong and my kids werent negatively impacted from spankings they were actually much better behaved then some of my friends who didnt believe in spanking.. so my question is if a child does and adult crime how do you feel they should be punished and do you feel that the parents are always to blame and is the discipline of your child something you as parents should decide or should the goverment be allowed to decide and then when the child does something wrong blame the parents because the goverment said ohh no your not allowed to spank your child that is abuse???
