i have a weekly bible scedule if you stick to it you can read the bible within a year and its better not to be religious because when you do things religiously it becomes a ritual and you dont want to become mechanical in your love for god if you miss a week of bible reading do it the next and stay balanced we are all imperfect understand like god does and knows our limitations 1corinthians 10:13 the B part quotes"But God is faithful,and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear,but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it." so pray to god and dont beat yourself up remeber self pity is a tool of the devil pray to god for his holy spirit to give you the strength endure and get your reading done and therin you will find spirit to read the whole thing.

The Bible is inspired by God. Though it is available in one volume it is not a single book. It is a collection of several books. There are stories, novelets, poetry, history, philosophy, relevation, prophesies, drama and many other things in the Bible. The Bible by itself is a library. You can be choosy in reading the Bible. Though you are not religious you pray the Holy Spirit is sure to give you the wisdom to understand the Bible in it's spirit. Once you read the Bible with prayer to the Holy Spirit and with an open receptive mind you will understand the truth about God's plans and that truth will sure to relieve you from all your problems.
