Torture?

I wish I can change place with you.This winter was one of the more hot at Greece.Of course no chance for snow.We didn't see snow not even for one day and I love it.How you find my idea to changing countries for few days?Is it deal grandpa?

Awww so sorry to hear that Grandpa Bob, yes, we have had some strange weather over the past week, we were in the high 80's to suddenly go to the 40's and now we are back to the 70's again, I wish it would all stop and just be spring. Think of the good side to this bad weather, think how much you will start posting and responding to on myLot, think of all the long lost letters you have been meaning to read and write and now you have the opportunity, think of the time you will be able to clean up that garage now that you will be in it for awhile :)

I want to assure you that spring is comming! :) With spring comes new beginnings and fresh ideas. I hope things look up for you soon, this can't last forever!!

Hey bob, I feel your pain. I've been in a rut for about 3 months now. It's not just the weather, boredom too. I can't wait until it's time for a garden. Hope you find your motivation.

I thought we had it bad! Wait a minute.. I take that back! Hubby just told me it's supposed to snow here too! Tell me it ain't so! Our only comfort is.. it can't last too long! Can it? [So much for getting a lot of work done! Or maybe you got it in before the big freeze!]

You have to try and get out of this lousy feeling. It's hard in winter to do this, & it sounds like your winter is real bad at the moment. How much the bad weather relates to you feeling like you are in a rut with My Lot is hard to say. When I feel "blank" regarding My Lot, I do other things, mainly boring jobs. You would be surprised how quickly this motivates you to do My Lot. As for your great garden, I am in the same situation, only I am waiting for rain. i really hope we see you more on My Lot.

Hey there Mr. Minnesota! This is Mrs. Wisconsin and I know the storm that you're talking about. It's supposed to dump 8-10" on us by tomorrow morning. I posted a discussion not too long ago about feeling the same way you do. I'm sooooo sick of this winter/spring, winter/spring flip-flop thing that we seem to have going here where we live. Then a few weeks after I posted the discussion about bad weather, it was like 70 outside for a few days and I was so excited about that. I got all geared up and started planting my flowers and getting ready and now I'm all disappointed again. Hang in there I here it's supposed to warm up on or after the weekend!

I know the weather has a big affect on me and I am really really ready for spring. We had a couple terrific days then it turned cold again and it's even worse now because the snow is gone, flowers that were coming up are all laying on the ground, and it's cold. Woke this morning to an interesting sight and I didn't think to get the camera out - green grass, snow covered trees (just the trees though none on the ground), and a very thick fog. It was very strange looking until nearly noon. Hoping for nicer weather and that you will cheer up more then.

Hey, looks like you are allowing stress to overcome you man! Take things easy, enjoy the beauty around you and things will seem much better! I'm going through tough times in my life too and I was a chain-smoker, but decided to kick the habit and do something productive, so here I am, sharing my experiences with others. It is quite a cathartic experience and makes me feel much better about myself. All the very best to you. God bless!

I sympathize with you. It is even "cold" here in Florida. It's been in the 50's with rain and we are all freezing here. (Hope that makes you smile.) We do need the rain, though, so I can't really complain. I have tucked my feet up under a nice warm throw and snuggled down with a good book. I hope you get to feeling better very soon. Reading some of the interesting discussions on myLot helps me to get out of a blue funk. There's this one guy that posts some great stuff about carnival experiences he's had...

Sorry to hear that your in a rut! Sometimes I know when I am starting to come down with an illness, I feel like that. I hope your not getting sick. I have been in a rut like this for the last few days and I am feeling the first round of something icky coming on. Hahah...u guys r getting lousy coz of snow,but v back in india,r getting literally f**ked up by HEAT!!...its bloody damn hot here,and the temperatures touch 42 degrees celsius,and its like....oh my god!Is is still april or wat?!?!?!

A-Ha! Glad someone else is getting the cold now! Week before last it was in the 80's & 90s. This week the highs were in the 30s & 40s. It even flurried a bit on Friday. It's getting warmer again. This has been some crazy weather. though I wouldnt mind getting all that snow!

Here in Birmingham UK we have bright sunshine and it is beginning to warm up. It has been a while in coming, but now it seems the spring has arrived properly. I hope your weather improves soon hun, and you can get out into the garden.
