I like books, the feeling of tuouching pages... Some years ago I've started collecting first editions, especially the ones from my favourite authors. Don't you think they have something special?

I think that books are very special. I like the feel of a book and the smell of a book. I like to buy the first editions of my favorite authors. I think that first editions are special, too.

Yes, they are different from others. They are a little more expensive, but you have something not usual.

I can understand the appeal of first editions, but I've never been a collector of anything. And the prices of good quality first editions would put most of them out of my reach anyway. The real value of books, for me, is what's in them, not when they were printed. And since I read too much and have too little space, I tend to buy the cheapest editions I can find, usually in paperback so that they take up less shelf space.
