WOOHOO...I finally made it!

After 10 long weeks, I have finally made it to the 500 mark! I can honestly say that I haven't worked as hard as I could have, but I tend to get sidetracked by reading responses. I feel as though I just finished some marathon. I have tried to post at least 5-10 messages each day, but there was probably only four days that I was unable to visit mylot. I am tickled to know that I have finally made it to this mark. Now I am shooting for 1000. I know that at 500 I can now cut and paste if necessary, but are there any other perks for 500 and above posts?

Hi chargoans and congratulations for reaching the 500 posts! I just reached mine and I'm so happy. That's cool that we can cut and paste but you can also upload images when you answer discussion. I am still not using both but it's good to know I can do that. Like you now I can't wait until I reach 1000 posts. The other perk for 500 and over is being able to add an image related to the content of your answer to somebody's discussion. Before we can only upload a picture when we start our own discussion. Everything that is happening in mylot is just amazing. Everyone here seems to be posting about their achievement of reaching the 500 post mark. I do have to congratulate you for a great work done. It is really difficult, to post 500 discussions and response. But, you were able to do it and you must be very proud of yourself. Keep Posting and Happy Earning :)

Thanks for your response. It was a bit harder than I thought it would be! It took me over 2 months to achieve, but I feel tremendously lighter since I made it!

congratulations on reaching this little goal...I am happy to read that you are so excited...I think this is a sign that you enjoyed this place and I hope you'll love it more and more as time passes by....I can only tell you that now you can add images to other people's discussions....and of course you can cut and paste if necessary...have a nice day and keep on reading and writing here...it is a wonderful place where to discuss and share opinions and feelings and thoughts

Thanks for your response. I think I am going to set my new goal a little differently. I wanted a blue 10 star...I attained it. I wanted 500 responses...I attained it. Now, I want to be a top discussion...I will attain it (I don't know how long it will take me, but that's the goal now!).

Thanks for your response. I know when I began this journey during the end of January, I was thinking big: I would mamke 500 posts within a few weeks. Little did I know how sidetracked I would become from reading the discussions. Some are quite humorous to me and relaizing the diversity on mylot is just phenomenal to me. :-)

First Congrats! It's always nice to reach your goals no matter what they are! I'm new to this site so my question to you is what do you mean by you can cut and paste? I know what the terms mean but how is it useful to this site? I also get very side tracked reading interesting posts I often wonder how some people say the post 50 times in an hour thats insane its one post in just over a min how can you read what everyone has said then make a post in that time, I know I cant.

Thanks for your response. After 500 responses, you are able to cut and paste. I would suggest cutting and pasting often, as it would be very easy to cheat on here. But if I participate in a discussion in which is similar to one I have had before, then it will be nice to be able to cut and paste my idea into the new discussion. It's kind of lazy I suppose, but that's the first example that comes to mind.
