NFL Suspends Pacman Jones

Do you think the NFL had the right to suspend him for the entire 2007 season even though he has not been charged in any crime?

Absolutely... The NFL is a private entity, they have the right to do whatever they want in terms of hiring/firing/suspending their "employees." They also have their rights and image to uphold, something that is directly tied into their revenue. It hurts their bottom line when their employees, whether it is coaches, players, executives, etc., are hurting the image of the league. The key factor, I think, is that the NFL Players Union is on-board, which means if there are grievances filed, they will be done individually and without the backing of the supreme Players Union. He'll have to return and show that he's reforming, or the NFL can choose not to allow him back at all. It's their right as a private company.

Pretty soon Pacman will have company because Tank Johnson should be suspended for the season as well. Hes serving time for a weapons charge.

I do. The NFL has an image to uphold. With that said, they did the right thing, brother.
