Idendity Theft/ Fraud Question

My husband has a common name and we are struggling with identity fraud or mistake issues. He recently almost didn't get a job because a criminal background check shoed him having dozens of felonies (he has never been in trouble at all). Thank-fully the HR person noticed that some of them were so long ago, my husband would have been too young to commit them and allowed him time to sort it out. He has had to pay a speeding ticket he never got and most recently has had horrible things turn up on a credit report that are not ours (including a $15,000 unpaid credit card). He has looked into getting a new SSN but hasn't heard anything back. Anyone know where I can find out our right and the laws regaring this issue? Anyone know anything about it or what we can do?

I can actually help you. I am with prepaid legal and identity theft shield. Here is what we can do. We will send you a free copy of your credit report. You go voer it and anything that is not yours, you notify our id theft company and they will fully restore it for you, if it was unknown at the time of recieving the credit report. If not, our lawyers will, so either way, it will be fixed. then, we will do daily monitoring. If something comes onto your credit, you will get an email at that moment(I have had quiet a few, some that were not mine). Then you call our company and they will take care of it. What is unique about our program is that we are the only company in North America who will actually restore your credit for you. We assign it to someone within our company to completely restore it. If you would like to check it out, email me and I will send you some information. My email is mrsgillen3@yahoo.com. I hope this can help you!
