Do you remember what you bought for your first salary?

When I received my first salary, I paid all my debts.haha.. Then I bought a gold ring which I wear everyday and a gold necklace for investment. And the remaining I bought gifts for my goddaughters and godsons, nieces and nephews because when I received my first salary it's few days before christmas. :)

I went to a supermaket and bought lots of things I like to eat, and then I found I lost a hundred yuan (RMB). I am very sad, because I got only 10 hundreds yuan. I lost one of tenth of my first salary. I can't buy other things because I have to spend my first salary for a month living. Now I have no job, I spend much time online, and I hope I can earn enough money online.

i bought a book for my first salary it was 400 rs thats all then i payed money for my stay in hotel i had some refreshments

Your discussion is very interesting,i think no one posted this question before.I received my first salary on April 2000.With my first salary,i went to a hotel and bought chicken Biryani as parcel for all my family members.Earning first time in life and getting the salary is a thrilling experience for me.There is no happiness,other than this.

I spent my first salary on a music system. i did a summer job for 2 months and along with what i had saved in the course of the year, i managed to buy a Philips 7 CD changer. It is one of my favorite possessions as it was also the first thing I ever bought on my own.

I received my first salary July 2006,I know it is very nice feeling.I want to use it to thank my parents.So I use the money to buy some clothes for them and buy a watch for my boyfriend,also buy some clothes for myself.

When I received my 1st salary, I did not buy anything instead I spent it all for my parents. I gave them a 2 day vacation in a resort and a surprise dinner for them. Actually my brother contributed but only very small, just like nothing..hehehhe :) joke!! That's it!! I did not buy something for myself but for my parents and there's a certain happiness that you felt coz until now, they still remembered it thank me for that. :)

I was in college when I received my first salary. I gave all my money to my parents because that time my oldest brother is doing a thesis and he needs some money. Well, even though I don't buy anything for myself, I'm happy that I help my parents and my brother.

Yes! I do remember what I did, I gave my first paycheck to my mother. She said it was sweet of me. But after that, she gave my allowance for the next 15 days before my next paycheck. Now, I don't remember anymore when was the last time I gave her some money because she won't accept it anymore. So I buy her stuff instead.

I got my first salary when I was still in high school. I did buy an expensive quality camera with the money I earned. I had the camera many years and took great pictures. I went on trips to foreign countries and came home with great pictures and great memories. It was a good investment.
