Do you agree with Simon about Hailey being a "smart" contestant?

Smart? Probably not. I think she is starting to realize that the only reason that she's still on the still on American Idol due to a combination of her looks and the way that she dresses. Without those two things she would of been kicked off weeks ago. It is safe to say that people are voting for her based on LOOKS instead of TALENT. The only good thing I can say about her is that she is much better then Sanjaya will ever be.

I think Simon has it right. She is definately not going to make it far on her voice alone. She does have great legs, might as well use them to her advantage.

I think Simon has a very good point about the way she dresses. I am sure her outfits and her showing off her legs are probably getting her lots of votes from the guys out there. She is probably the most attractive of the ladies there, though her singing has a lot to be desired. I think Simon may be correct about his statement but I think she will still leave this week.

The show's wardrobe department is dressing the contestants, so you can't blame her for what she wears. I think she probably has as much talent as any beauty queen contestant, which is what she reminds me of, and I am sure that she appeals to that crowd. I find her very uninteresting. I keep hoping she'll get voted off. She always picks awful songs; her voice is ok, but I just find her so bland. Having a certain vibe, like Blake, makes the contestants more interesting in the American Idol competition.

I think so too. It is a hard pill to swallow but I think her voice is not that good compare to jordin lakisha and melinda

I could not stop laughing when Simon said this tonight! Only he would be so brave to say such a thing. I'm sure Hailey is getting votes based off of her looks - but I'm not sure if she is wearing less on purpose to receive more votes. Who knows - she seems like a pretty innocent girl - but she does need to go, the others do have WAY more talent than she does.
