Do your children scream if their foods touch one another?

My daughter screams, kicks and has a fit if her food touches. This drives me up a wall. We have to make sure the waitress separates all of her food assuring nothing is touching or she will not eat it. Do I have the only "special" child. What does your baby do that is a little ridiculous?

I think being upset is normal. I don't like it as well. But the act of kicking and screaming.. that's questionable sister. Don't give in if she doesn't ask nicely

No! My kids will never react to food likethey know food is just food-infact i have seen them pick pieces of rice that drop on their arms or chests enroute their mouths without any complain.

Wow .......LMAO!!! That's soooo crazy. (Great Question) My son when younger would go to bed and not eat if two foods touched on his plate. It was like the end of the world for him.

My daughter is not old enough to do that but my father and I were just talking the other day and he reminded me that when I was young none of my foods could touch. I do not know why I was like that. I do not mind now so hopefully it will go away soon.

well my kids dont like to eat food if they can see the seasoning on it. Otherwise its considered "dirty" lol. For example ... baked chicken. If they can see the seasoning they wont eat it. They will use a paper towel to wipe the meat until its "clean". I think all kids are a little "SPECIAL!" No just yours.

I think something wrong with your daughter. Try to talk to her nicely why shes doing that thing. So far, I havent encountered such problem with my kids. As long as the foods are clean, they dont mind if they touch each other. Try to consult a specialized doctor.

That is bizarre. Between all my siblings, cousins and I, the only weird things I have seen growing up is a simple distate of a certain food. Hopefully she grows out of that. Kids who have fits in public are disgusting and very disturbing to other people (at least to me and everyone I know) - your daughter needs to learn to behave herself as soon as possible. I know this sounds cruel but I really feel this way every time a child is misbehaving at the table/seat/wherever next to me and ruins my good time. Maybe you shouldn't take her out if she behaves like that. Or if she does it, leave the restaurant and don't let her have any food at all. Don't let her control you - control her. In as nice of a way as possible of course.
