Dravid is a good captain, he lacks the quality of motivating his team, but other than that he is good, he is diplomatic and he is a great bat.. they need a great coach, n one of the more successful coaches right now has been Dav Whatmore

yes, indian team performance was bad in world cup and they'll have to improve theirselves for the future. for this, they'll need to several changes, including coach,captain and infrastructure. what do you say?

The coach has left already to the best of my knowledge .... the team played lousy in the Cricket World Cup and has not been performing well in the international arena for some years. They need to get rid of the players who aren't performing and replace them with some "new blood", or else they will not return to what they were. Once the Indian Cricket team were a force to be reckoned with in the international area, but these past few years they have played really badly, with a few minor exceptions. If they want to do better, then they should take a look at how Australia does it. We have 2 teams, one for the test matches and 1 for the one day games and although some might play in both sides not all of them do. Also members who do not perform are dropped and if their performance improves, they might get chosen to represent Australia again. Dropping them does a couple of things ... one is that another, usually new, player gets a chance to prove himself and the other is that if the dropped player improves, he might get chosen again. In addition, Australia spells some of the players when they are playing non-stop some of the players take some time off, and that happened with the captain, Ricky Ponting, just before the world cup matches. He wanted and needed some time off, so he had it and the result of that has been seen in how he and the team are playing now. India needs to do something similar, get rid of those who aren't performing and that is many of the players on the India Cricket Team. Do not blame the coach at all, because he is only as good as the players that are given to him.

i think india is a fine team, the captain rahul dravid dhould not be changed as he is doin a fair job its just that the other seniors have not performed, dravid has tried to the best of his ability to keep the team in good spirits
