coffee! coffee! coffee!

why is it that people are so addicted with coffee?some could not make it through the day with out coffee first thing in the morning, some can even consume a pot of coffee, without sugar or cream!what's your story or view about this?

Well, I started drinking coffee when I was 8yrs old and have drank at least a pot a day since I was in my 20's. I usually drink it black during the afternoon but do put milk and sugar in it first thing in the morning for some reason. I can drink a cup right before I go to bed and it doesn't bother me fortunately. I also drink some flavored coffees and also use some of the flavored creamers which are on the market. My favorite at the moment is french vanilla. The strangest coffee I have drank was rasberry chocolate. I was surprised how good it was because I really didn't expect to like it.
