How would you feel/react if you found out someone stole your favorite thing?

Steal - This is really not the only way in order for us to have the things we get envious of from other people.

I think situation is already normal for all of us. I admit that this happened to me and the latest was just recently, someone stole 2 of my favorite swimsuits while those were hung to dry up.. I was really pissed at the person who had stole them, I explained to my boyfriend that I couldn't understand why people would really do that..I know it's hard to get over because it's something we love and just a snap it's gone.. How would you feel/react to something you really like that has been stolen?

Stealing from you especially taking the things that you value the most makes my heart burst to flames and get angry but sometimes i do blame myself because if i took care of it so well it may never have been stolen at the first place?

I did blame myself as well for what happened because I really don't like blaming it on other people. I keep on telling myself that if I hadn't woke up late then I'll be able to wash them myself and then just hung them here inside but what happened was the other way around that's why it was stolen.. :( That's really true, if we were just attentive to our things then it would have been still with us..

Its normal to us that our first reaction is to be mad and the second is to be pity to ourself.

Someone stole a book from my mailbox, I had really wanted it and was looking forward to receiving it. At first I was utterly incredulous, I just couldn't believe someone would actually stoop that low to steal a second hand and very used book like that. I was also very angry, how dare they touch my property like that. Lastly I just became very sad as now I don't know how to get another copy of the book and I'm slightly worried the thief will come back. Nothing else has been stolen, so we think it was just a one off, but I'm still so angry. What a nerve!

Of course i'll got angry and mad at the person who stole it, burst out my emotions at the moment i've known it stolen. It's hard to pretend that there's nothing wrong with that, what had stolen but what if those are very important things to us. We always think of our effort, our hardships that we had shed just to have that thing. I'll just pray that that stolen thing will give good things to the stealer, will make their life better.

We can't just accept the fact we were stolen because the things we have are also important to us, it's really hard to accept first. I remember at that time, my boyfriend kept on telling that there's nothing we can do because it happened and he would just buy me a new one so that I'll be ok. That's what I thought also, we really try to earn to by what we want and then people just easily take them from us. You're a good person for understanding their side as well..

I have a incident here to tell .. Near my house there is a street which is very dark, without lights .. and I was coming in a rickshaw -- I don't know how to explain rickshaw to my international friends -- but it's a cycle kind of vehicle -- which is pulled up by a man here. There were two guys in a bike and they were looking at me and after approximately 30 seconds they snatched my bag and went away with full speed. Inside my bag there were so many things which was soo dear to me .. My 8 bracelets, my beautiful watch -- which was gifted to me by my sister and about money I really don't care but my other accessories was so much to me. My day was really ruined up due to this .. and I feel like killing those guys on bike who did this :(

What's reall sad about this is the fact they stole them from a clothes line. This is ridiculous as it comes. I've heard a lot recently of clothes being stolen from outdoor lines and especially from laundramats. Unreal. I too would be VERY angry. So it seems as if you know who stole it then? What did you say to this person if you did know? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

My first reaction would be exactly what your was, id be really mad. If something like my phone got pinched while at school, i wouldnt back down until i found the person who took it. Although after a while, I'd probably forget about it, especially if i had it replaced. But the fact that people are that untrustworthy to steal things always has and still does annoy me.

I know we would really feel something like that because of the thing we lost, I was like that also at that time.. But true, when we find something to replace it, we would think less and less about it until we will be able to forget about it.. I guess there are just some people who couldn't understand what it feels like to be taken from them.
