Yes how's your toddler react to your second bundle of joy?? I'm really curious. This week is the last week for my son to be the only child, and if all go well next week he will be a BIG brother. I'm really curiouse how is he going to react when he sees his brother/sister for the first time. Please share your experience and have you got any tip for me how to make him feel at ease around the new edition. I'm little bit worried as some people say that he might get jealous with the baby..

ofcourse he will be jealous!and he has the right to be! but if you treat him as special as your newborn it will work out fine. i let my oldest one help me with the diapers, and when my youngest one has taken a bath she wanted in the same bath so i just let her do that! right now she seemed not very jealous but i have to watch her because she sometimes hit her sister with toys, or she uses her teeth to hurt her sister! but that are just moment during the day. just enjoy your kids and have fun!

Hai Sicantik, First of all, Congratulations! You are true, the elder child may get jealous of the new born but it depends on how you take care of the situation. AT any cost, don't ignore the first child. Give more attention to him that before and pamper him a lot. Tell him gently that now on he can play with a lovely living doll.In case if you cannot dedicate much time to him because of your second one, let his father take care of him. Make him feel that he is very important to you depsite the new arrival. AT at same time be catious about your second one as without his knowledge/unknowingly the elder one may try to harm the sibling. Best of luck and lots of love

Thank you for your response, Yes I know we realise we have to always pay attention to both of them just incase, and that's why I'm a bit worry. My husband and I we bought a nice present for him and we'll give him when we bring the baby home from the hospital so he will have something that will occupied him while everyone else busy with the baby.
