I had to be rushed to the emergency room the other day because of a bad asthma attack. During the asthma attack I felt really calm, I am not sure why and my heart rate dropped and they had to give me two doses of epiniphrine in my IV to increase my heart rate to normal. It seems strange that my heart rate would slow down not speed up...Has this happened to anyone?

I've never had that happen to me. But then again my anxiety makes it hard to be calm even without having an asthma attack so I'm alot worse off when one hits.
Hopefully you're feeling better now? :)

im sorry to hear that. well, ask for me i had my worst asthma attack about 7 years ago and the nurses needed to blast me off with full blast oxygen with ventolin nebulized at the same time! the worst is dat i actually forgot wat happened to me dat day and after around 8 hours of sleep, i thanked God my memory is back. though i haven't felt any slowdown with my heart rate then coz u know wat is like inhaling ventolin nebules, it makes our heart beat faster especially if we take high dosages..
rest well and be happy!
