Life and death

Benjamin Franklin once said that the only two things in life that are certain are death and taxes. Something that lies between the two is old age. This is something that I am terrified of. I do not want to be in a situation where I am weak and unable to fend for myself. Where the food that I love to eat is banned cause of digestive problems and heart related ailments. I would like to live life to the fullest while I am able to take care of myself and my family and then when I cannot death should come-a-calling. Do you feel that old age (for the infirm) is something that should not happen? Do you feel life should end before?

I'd like to think that if I live to be elderly I'll be one of those nutty, life loving, grammas EVEN IF I'm not in the best of health...I mean life has been rough for me without a doubt but the reality is, I've survived this far and have made the most out of where i came from, turned it around and my life these days is pretty darn good....I wouldnt WANT to be feeble by any means but I know that if I were to be in my golden yrs I know that my kids will be there for me and care for me and make the most of my remaining time ya know...

I want to live everyday that God allows me to have. I have a great grandson that I would like to see grow up but if not then I will accept it. I don't mind growing ols. I am already 63 years old.
