Has anyone heard about Jigoku Shoujo?

I think it's the counterpart of Deathnote. But the difference is that, the character there kills through a website.

I've watched it! Managed to watch the whole first season on TV and watched a few of the second season through downloads. I think the animation is beautiful and the OP and EDs are always so, so interesting to look at. Love the songs, too. I think Ai's seiyuu is the singer of the EDs? Or at least, that's where I read somewhere. Haven't really verified it yet. I did find the episodes a little repetitive. It's definitely not one for huge intakes. I also had serious problems with the whole concept of revenge, the fact that the people aren't judged for themselves, but for the determination of the avenger to pull the string. Which the second season addressed, I think, but I haven't been able to watch the whole season to judge the series accordingly. In the end, still a mighty interesting anime. And I have a huge crush on Ai and Hone Onna. :)

Yes, I've seen some episodes of Hell Girl, but it ended after only 6 episodes or so... Is that all there is or that was just the first season? Or maybe the TV station that aired it in my country didn't buy more... It was very interesting, I'd love to see more, if there is more.

Yeah, I have watched Jigoku Shoujo. It's cool, but it feels too much like a bad guy of the week series. I want a continuing storyline with character development and continuation. With Jigoku Shoujo everything is wrapped up every episode and you don't get to see anything new from any of the characers. There is zero development and zero continuation on the storyline. You can pick up on episode 10 and know exactly what is going on because it is explained every time, and there is no tie ins to previous episodes.

yeah I've watched it.We call it Hell girl here.Although the stories are rather sad,I just love this anime,telling much about human nature.

I've been wanting to see it for awhile now, the animation looks very beautiful. It kind of reminds me of the manga, Sky High :)

Yeah I love this one. It has alot of dark scenario which is what I like with stories. I love it when girl from hell will deliver someone to hell and all of her dialogue are so dark. I love the concept of the story but sad to say I didn't finish the whole story cause it was cut off by the animax.

I haven't but I will give it a try, I'm a little needed of something because I'm waiting for the subs of Hellsing OVA 3 and the wait is killing me! :S

I've heard it from my friends and they love it too! I'd love to watch it after i finish watching all the other animes ive been hooked on lately.
