I hated it when I had that done. My mouth was sore. The semi salt water helped heal it, and the swelling. I also had some good precription medication too, which helped.

They tell you not to use mouth wash after. At least until most of it heals. You can dislodge the blood clot in it. Then you will end up having what they call dry socket. They say that it is very painful and hard to fix. they have to put in some nasty smelly stuff into the hole. It makes it less painful, but when it isnt inside your in major pain, not to mention they have to repack it often. They also say not to spit, suck with a straw and also smoke. My best friend got it, and she said it was horrible.
