I Think You Misunderstood The Question....

I've read a few posts this morning that after reading some of the responses, I was confused, the answeres had nothing to do with the question.
A simple question on how to get your child to brush her hair turned into, a "she's not the parent you are! get her under control before she's 17 and she really gets out of hand!" WHAT?
I've noticed alot of these, and have experienced a few as well....
So Are We Rushing To get Through The Post To Answer As Many As Possible And Missing The Simplicity Of The Question, Or Are You Really Trying To Spice Things Up Or Trying To Let Out Some Aggresion By Getting Into An Ongoing Debate?

I have read quite a number of these posts. One of the most recent responses that had nothing to do with the topic was, "wow, how long did you stay on myLot to get such a high number of points". I thought that was really rediculous. Another one was, "Look at all the blue stars coming together". It took me a while to figure that one out and then I realised that the person was talking about the people who responded and how they all had blue stars. There is a whole lot more which I have read but I am sure you have seem similar ones so I won't bore you.

I think that some of the posters get in such a hurry to make a penny or two that they don’t always read the complete discussion before posting. They jump to conclusions and get off subject. I try to read the discussion twice to make sure that I understand the discussion before posting to it.

Isn't it kind of funny when that happens? I just have to laugh when people go off on a tangent and they have not even really read what you posted. Either that or they take it the wrong way and go off on you without giving you the benefit of the doubt. There are also many posters out there that are simply copying and pasting responses wherever they can to get a few extra pennies. I am glad I am not so desperate. I hope things get better for you. Don't get upset about it, you just have to laugh it off. =)

That stricks me as plain rude. Please every parent has trouble with getting their child to do the things they should. Shoot my mom still tells me when I need to go brush my hair. It shouldn't have been a debate about who the parent is. And how exactly is your child not brushing her hair going to end up with a totally out of hand child? Anyways my advise to that question about he brushing hair and teeth is don't worry too much. She will quickly start thinking about boys and care more about what she looks like. She's still a kid. However when it comes to the brushing teeth thing she might hate the taste of your tooth paste so try something new.

hi there, i do not seem to be able to find the original question, but if your pic is any indicator of how old the child in question is, then maybe you should think back if you can, lol, lol, oh ya i remember now i started worrying about my hair about the same time i started worrying about girls, so you see your daughter over there in the mirror preening then you better see where the boy is,lol, lol. our daughter big bad 13 now just found boys and mirrors within the last year. last year she could hang her head out the wiondow on the way to school, now every hair has its own proper place, i tease her, yo yo you can't go like that your hair is sticking up in the middle, even though she knows i am teasing she still must look in the mirror. unless your girl is 16 or 17 i think she will be fine.

I think a lot of people are just reading the title of the discussions these days and not the actual discussion.
Someone did a trick discussion the other day where the title of the post was "Do you read the whole discussion before responding?"
Then in the actual discussion, they explained that it was a trick to see how many people read the actual discussion, because the questions they actually asked where about how you compose your discussions.
It was astounding the number of people who responded and said "Oh I always read the entire discussion blah blah blah because I'd look pretty silly if I didn't know what the discussion was about - yet they never answered the question that was actually posed and showed no knowledge of actually even having seen it lol.
I think a lot of people are doing it this way so as to try and get their responses in quickly so they can move on to the next discussion and earn a few more cents. It's pretty pathetic to be honest.

thats how people re rarning here making short responses and running in a jiffy. lol. I keep trying to do more than twenty posts a day but fall short of it. I have to repond really sincerely , half the time I am reading discussions after discussions to find one which I can answer and then if i find any I wrote so much that all the time is up.
but I have to say I do get paid nicely here desite that.I just need a spell checker here too.
and that would be fine and save me some time.I do miss some here and there.
I saw you discussion about brushing hair but didn't had ny tips to offer so just let it pass up but now I think I would go back and read the responses, sure they must be funny. Fior you to have to start a topic like this one over them. lol

I do try to read the posting carefully before responding, sometimes it is quite difficult to understand some of the discussions on here. There are, however, a lot of folks around who think nothing of simply adding a one-line or, on occasion, ONE WORD responses, so they can boost their earnings.

Yeah! I agree with you my friend. Some people just post wihtout even understanding the question. They answer just to earn points eventhough what they have posted is not relevant to the discussions. I pity these people. Hope mylot do something about that. anyway, cheer up. Mylot is still here. Goodluck and happy posting!
