I don't believe in Heaven and Hell, Heck! I don't even believe in God... I think Heaven and Hell is just another myth just like what the Greek, Romans, etc. believed in the past; they are used to add a little more twist to boring religion. If hell turns out to be real, then I think I am in for a very rude awakening in the afterlife, and I would think to myself that god would be evil for allowing such places of eternal torment to exist. Hell as described in the bible, I believe (and hope, for everyone's sake) is just another way of scaring people into submission so they'd be under religious social control, you know - do this, and you will go to heaven, don't follow me, and you will suffer in hell kind of thing. Still, I don't like its idea to start with, it's just..... too cruel, so I'd rather not believe in it. Heaven, on the other hand, is similar to saying to a Radical Islamist: Bomb them and Heaven will give you 72 virgins, and other blissful perks.. That is just too unreal. There are just too many variations regarding this belief, they vary culture to culture, religion to religion. I don't believe in both because it's 'not believable', that is... if you think 'long enough' about it.

I don't believe in the 'traditional' Christian idea of heaven and hell, nor do I believe much in salvation or punishment. As far as an afterlife, though, I believe there is something to it, though I don't have an exact idea I could convey to anyone right at this moment. I believe it other dimensions (that's probably about the closest I can come to explaining it right now), as well as reincarnation.
