My dear friend, I would like to differ with you on this count. In my opinion, there is nothing such as luck. People usually believe that they are lucky whenever they achieve whatever they want to. And success never comes without efforts being put in right direction. And apart from the efforts, we need to have a perfect timing for putting the efforts or else the efforts could go waste.
And then again if we want to earn lots of money and are looking at achieving it by means of winning a lottery, then I would definitely say that the efforts are not being put in right direction. Because, as we all know that the probability is what matters most in lottery. So if you are dealing with lottery, then I would say yes luck matters most. But for matters where efforts are the major contributors, I would say that there is no place for luck. e.g. If you desire to secure an admission in top management institutions of India, then only your efforts can take you there and not your luck.

I do believe in luck. Sometimes if successful in our life, we need some luck. For example, you meet someone who can really teach you in everything and willing to give you an oppurtunity to try something that we never do before, and becasue of this oppurtunity, it make you success. of course, you had put many hard work in it but without this oppurtunity no matter how hardworking you are, you cannot success. Wish you all good luck in life!!!

There is no such thing as luck.
There is no such thing as coincidence.
There is such thing as a divine, everlasting God, who holds all things in His hands, and has ordained all events according to his plan.
That's the extent of it. Luck does not exist. Luck is a superstition created by unenlighted nations to attempt to explain that which cannot be explained without the force of a divine God.
