LOL When my oldest son was a baby he called me Mommy No. that was my name. After a year I became meana meana mommy. Made me sound even more evil! Now its pretty funny back then I wasn't amused at all.

Glad to know that I will eventually find humor in the whole thing.

I try very hard not to say "no" to my kids. I try to find more constructive ways to guide their behaviors when I can. It's not always easy and I'm no saint so I do say "no" plenty too. But, with my son (14 months) I try to just move him to something else when he is getting into trouble. It usually works.

Moving worked great with my daughter, but not with my son. We would put him in another room and he would just get up and go right back to what interested him in the first place. He is sooo! stubborn that one.

Definitely!! There are days where I feel like all I did was get onto the kids for whatever they were doing wrong. I try to let things go a little more but they they just misbehave more so it doesn't really hepl. I would love it if my kids just did what I said for one day.
