I would like to know exactly how much does myLot pay for each post. Is it a penny a post or does it depend on the amount of words of each post? I haven't found any information as to their rate of pay. Does anyone know?

There is no clear answer to that you have asked as every thing about the payout rate is based on experiments by the members .The members can only guess that how the earnings could have been calculated as mylot does not discloses its algorithm for calculating earnings. But I can say that it is quite logical.I have seen from responses that the payout for each post varies from less then 1 cent to 8 cents. Some members say that the response should be lengthy so that you earn more and a single sentence response don't get you anything. Some say it depends on the ratings of a member.Personally I think that it depends on both the length of response and ratings of the member. The payout based on length is quite logical as more is the length of the respose the more time you spent in giving the response , hence the more you get.Now the ratings determines the quality of your responses as found by the members. So the rating makes sure that you are not posting garbage in the form of response.

What you are stating makes sense; however, I feel that we should have that information available to us so we can determine how to proceed to obtain more money. If it is the length then I can understand the payment; however, as to quality myLot doesn't check quality. I have posted some stuff that I found did not have any quality and I still got paid.

I have tried to find out the answer but cannot. Sometimes a post may get you more and sometimes less. I think it has saomething to do with the ratings that the people who respond give you. and the number of responses that you have

I think myLot should make that information public. Thanks for the response.

I'm living proof that they pay more than a penny a post for some posts. I'm going on my second consecutive month of over $20 in my PayPal account and there is no way I could do that at a penny a post. I think it has to do with the quality of your posts, the tag lines you use and the variety of posts you reply to. Just my opinion. No definate proof of this. Lloyd

That has been the question of many members here. There is really no way to tell how much you will earn per post and I believe you are aware of that already by now. have tried to respond to only one discussion in a day and I got 0.03 for that.

No I don't know exactly but I do think your quality of posts does come into play. I have heard anywhere from 1c to 6 cents a post from different posters here. I think mine has been somewhere around 3 cents a post. I think there are many factors in how they decide though, and none of us will really know how they break it down.

Thank you for your response. It appears that my posts are only getting $.01 a post as I feel I am typing a lot but my earnings are not high.

this questions has been asked many times already. mylot does pay any exact amount per post. it depends on various factors such as quality/length of posts and your reputation (the star with a number). For now, i am getting a little over 1 cent per post on average.
