1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. yellow cak emix
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen cool whip, thawed
1 (5 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
Prepare the cak emix as directed on the box. Bake in a 13x9 inch baking pan, or two 8 inch pans. When the cake is cool, split it in half, horizontally. Prepare the pudding as directed on the pkg. directions.
Crumble half of the cake into the bottom of a punch bowl. Then put a layer of the cool whip, a layer of pudding, then a layer of pineapple. Repeat layers, and top with remaining cool whip. Keep refrigerated until time to serve.

This is a very interesting recipe. I have never heard of anything like this. Sounds sorta soggy. I will have to try it to see if we like it or not. Thanks for sharing.

This sounds so easy and yummy. I love recipes that go into something different and unique. I wonder if you could make it like a creamscicle by using mandarine oranges instead of pineapple...my father loves that creamscicle flavor. Thanks for the recipe. I plan to use it soon !
