Do you answer any of them?? I might answer one out of the whole lot, but only if it's really interesting to me. I know that multi-posting is a technique for making money on pay-per-post sites, does that make the multi-poster a money-grubber? Or are they just really really curious??

The trouble with these posts are that they don't demand much thinking, they don't get the old grey cells going! If they belong to a friend of mine, and I will get the notification, and there's a number beside their name to obviously tell me how many discussions they have made. I will go through them and answer the ones that mean something to me and those that are uninteresting I just ignore. Very few of my friends if any.

You're so right! My brain tends towards hyperactivity (when it's not a complete pile of mush, that is!), and I crave the stimulation of thoughtful questions. It's also fascinating to find out what people are concerned about in their daily lives -- what has moved them, what has worried them, what has made them smile. I figure (or hope) that the multi-poster is a newbie and will figure out that it takes a good question to get good (ANY) responses.

I noticed someone did this the other day. It was just a whole list of questions like a three year old would ask. I find it annoying and ignore all the posts. I like the fact we get paid for posts, but I like to reply to sensible posts that people actually thought about. This site for me is more about learning about people from different parts of the world. I find the human aspect better than the money side.

I have to admit that I joined for the money, but the very first day realized that I don't have as many burning questions to post as I thought! LOL! I was immediately hooked, however, on the people and the many REAL questions that get posted. As you point out, this is an international community, too, and the knowledge I've gained in that area has already pushed the money almost completely out of the picture!

HI egfitz62150 I know this is an older talking points for you...but I needed some experiences in Mylotting before answering. After being here for a month I agree with your always interesting perspective that the quick multi-posts are much less of a draw than those who provide some mental stimulation, human insights, or tid-bits about life and what makes it what it is...from varying viewpoints. The longer I am here the less inclined I am to comment on the quickies...I'd rather surf around and find like-minded others and hopefully have them come back to perspectives with their own wisdom and insight. Different priorities I guess...but we all do what works for us.
