I would have to say anything homemade! To me I don't really need anything but anything my kids or hubby can make I just Love and cherish with all I have! It truly has a lot of meaning in it for me =)

Hi Isen06, I appreciate thoughtful, yet pragmatic gifts. For example: Two of my favorite birthday gifts were both from my husband, and both to be used in the garden. One year it was a cultivator, and the other year it was soil amendments. My husband jokes that that was the year he got me dirt for my birthday, and got away with it. I have never received it, but I would say that one gift that would be truly special to me would be a planned trip, cruise or vacation. Specifically, where someone else does all the trip planning and organizing, and where I would only have to pack and get on the plane or ship. That would be GREAT!

i like money because it allows you to egt what ever you want rather than receiving something completely pointless, also receiving money helps the giver because it means they don't have to go through the whole 'what would he like' process.
