How to control cockroaches?

I also have heard about using boric acid. place out small shallow dishes (like metal jar lids) and put in some borax - a good place to set them is where moisture is, like under the sink. The borax produces a gas and the roaches are unable to expel the gas. I guess they blow up? ewe, wouldn't want to be cleaning up their guts either. hmmm.

You should get a couple of those roach motels and stick them in the corners of your house, I am not sure why, but they are attracted to those things, and then they go in there and they die, and all you have to do is pick up the whole thing and throw it away without actually having to see the little buggers.
